At Outlook Fostering Services, we have a clear recruitment and selection procedure. Simply, it works like this:

- Make an initial enquiry on the telephone or directly from this website
- An information pack is sent to you
- Your details are given to a qualified social worker after which an appointment for an initial visit will be made
- The Social Worker will help you complete the application form
- You will be invited to attend a three-day, local Skills to Foster Training Programme
- Statutory checks will be carried out

The information that you provide to your assessing social worker will give us a clear picture of how your family works, your interests and hobbies, skills and competencies and what you can bring to foster care.
