Outlook Fostering Services recognises that the needs of looked after children and young people will change through time. To this end we actively support the continuous professional development of our staff and foster carers and are recognised as Investors in People. 
 
Our training programmes have proved so popular that we have developed a dedicated training centre at our Kent head office. Here, child-centred courses delivered by expert practitioners are available. Away from office and family distractions, we make it easy for you to concentrate and learn develop essential new skills.   

These courses are aimed at anyone within the childcare sector and are equally appropriate for local authority staff, existing foster carers and those who are new to the profession. 
 
Because the needs of looked after children and young people change through time, we advocate a programme of continuous professional development for all staff and carers.   
 
Outlook training is available to external parties and operates in accordance with CSCI requirements and best practice.
